Friday evening March 1st was the club gala at the Spring Lake Manor. Our social committee outdid themselves again with a fabulous celebration of our triathlon community with dinner, dancing, and a slide show of highlights from last season.

Club members were spotted with styled hair, makeup, and dressy shoes instead of their usual swim cap/bike helmet/running cap and various forms of sport-specific shoes. With the help of name tags, we were able to recognize each other!   

Local event organizers and businesses generously donated a large assortment of door prizes. Many thanks to our premier sponsor, Brielle Cyclery, for donating a new bike!  Jason Petraco may have been seen riding the bike through the parking lot after winning it. Congratulations Jason and all the winners.

President Corey Lowell and the trustees conducted an efficient business meeting before opening up the dance floor. Who knew triathletes were such good dancers, too?
